Hi, I am Sherry
I picked up a camera in 2017, back when I owned a bakery. Photography started as something on the side, and then it wasn't.
I closed the bakery to chase it full-time, and for years that meant weddings. I photographed hundreds of them, learned everything I know about light and timing and how to catch a moment before it's gone, standing in the middle of someone else's best day.
In 2025, I stepped away from full-time wedding photography. Not because I stopped loving the work, but because somewhere along the way I realized the thing I actually cared about most wasn't just capturing moments. It was helping other photographers build a business that let them keep doing this without burning out. So now I teach. I help wedding photographers figure out how to build a life of freedom inside their business, instead of getting swallowed by it.
I don't run this business off a five-year plan. I follow the season I'm in, and I move when I've learned what I came to learn. That's taken me from bakery to bride to classroom, and I expect it'll take me somewhere else eventually too. That's the belief underneath everything here: build a business around your actual life, not the other way around.
I still shoot: personal branding, family and lifestyle, maternity, elopements, engagements. Because the craving for a real moment never left. It just isn't the only thing I do anymore.
